On My Wishlist really does what it says on the tin. It’s a way for me to highlight books that I have my eye on which have made their way onto my wishlist but I can’t quite get my hands on them for the time being. I’m constantly adding to my wishlist so I doubt I’ll ever manage to buy and read everything on there but I can at least highlight a few. Started by Book Chick City.

The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien

Genre: Fantasy

I think I mentioned the other day that I lost my old copy of The Hobbit when I lent it to my nanny. Sadly I never got it back before she went into the home and her books were all sold on. So, seeing as I’d really like to re-read the Tolkien stuff and do a Hobbit re-read in spirit of the movie (which I’m very excited about), I really could use a new copy of my own.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen by Alan Moore

Genre: Graphic Novel – Superheroes

This one I’d really like to feature in ‘Discovering Steampunk‘ but I just don’t think I can validate the price of it. Admittedly, it’s not too expensive for a graphic novel but it’s still taking money that I’d like to spend on other things sadly. It’s a shame because I think it would be a fantastic item to feature and I’m really, really interested in reading it.

The Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon

Genre: Historical Fiction – Time Travel

This series is one I keep hearing fantastic things about and I’m starting to really get the itch to read it. I’d like the US covers more than the British ones, admittedly, but we’ll see what I’m able to get eventually.
