Just so you know, Pretty When She Dies should really have been in last week’s IMM but I forgot to note it down and thus forgot to add it and then when I sat down to read it I slapped myself something silly (not literally, that’s weird) realising I’d forgotten that one of all things to forget! So I actually spent a grand total of ยฃ1.30 this week and that was in the charity shop. I call that a win!

Charity Shop Finds

  • The Earth Hums in B Flat by Mari Strachan | Goodreads
  • The Intimate Adventures of a London Call Girl by Belle de Jour | Goodreads
  • The Further Adventures of a London Call Girl by Belle de Jour | Goodreads
The Earth Hums in B Flat was one of those books that caught my eye. Everytime a book does that, it is excellent. It’s either the cover, something about the title.. but yeah, so I had to have that one and though I already had the first Belle de Jour novel, I always preferred these covers so finding these two in pretty good condition I grabbed them too. Need to read them, I’m sure they’ll be hilarious. There were a few others in the pile originally but limited funds and space so I just priced those up and put them on the shelf.

  • Pretty When She Dies by Rhiannon Frater | Goodreads (bought)
  • Hollowland (The Hollows #1) by Amanda Hocking | Goodreadsย (free from Smashwords)
  • Six Moon Summer (Seasons of the Moon #1) by S.M. Reine | Goodreads (free from Smashwords)
  • The Willows: Haven (The Willows #1) by Hope Collier | Goodreads (won from darkangel88)

Pretty When She Dies, so far, is amazing. I picked that up to take part in Fangtastic Fridays and it was absolutely worth it. Would like a hard copy of this one at some point. And then we have zombies, werewolves and.. I think mythology? Not too bad on the finds this week.

Don’t forget to check out Revital Shiri-Horowitz’ excellent guest post about being an immigrant including an international giveaway of her book, Daughters of Iraq, in either paperbook or as an ebook. Also this week I shall be featuring my review of Cicada alongside a guest post and giveaway from Belle Whittington herself! Belle is a lovely person, you won’t want to miss it.

What did you get this week?
