18/5

Number of pages I’ve read today: 139
Total number of pages I’ve read: 557
Books started/continued with/finished today: Billy and Me – More Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops
Today #insixwords: Eurovision fun took over from reading 😉

12.20 – Went to bed last night and read from page 242 to 292 of Billy and Me. Was all set to finish it today and then about 7am I started reshuffling my pillows and knocked over the drink on the bedside table. Didn’t realise until 2 hours later when I woke up properly that I’d caught the book so right now it’s squidged between the Necronomicon and the Complete Works of Shakespeare to hopefully flatten it out while it dries! So today, I think I’ll finish More Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops and move onto The Masque of the Red Death or Fall of Night. Today will also be a crap reading day because there’s the Twitter chat at 4pm and Eurovision later on. We have a thing about watching Eurovision finals, just so funny. But rest assured, by the end of tomorrow, I will have read over 700 pages over the week. I am determined.

14.15 – Hmm.. I can’t remember if I added the pages read in More Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops or not.. I just finished it though. And tis 121 pages. Very good! Shall go check on Billy and Me now, if not, Masque of the Red Death is getting some love.

18.58 – It’s Who and Eurovision time!

23.45 – I’ll call this my last update for the day and update the bits at the top tomorrow morning. It’s been a day of Twitter chats, swift mood swings downwards, cheering myself up by general chatting and watching Vampire Diaries. And then we had Doctor Who. Oh. My. God. I’m saying nothing but that. Astounding! And. Eurovision? I got Twitter jailed for the first time ever. That was a bit nuts! Luckily I had my second account (@jaedia) to carry on with the Eurovision tweeting madness. Seriously love eurovision purely for the comedy gold. But there’s always the odd enjoyable song and this year I really like Hungary’s entry. Netherlands wasn’t bad either just felt a bit miserable for Eurovision. Anyway this is about books not silly European pop competitions! Just lots of fun. 🙂 Shall head to bed now, maybe read, maybe sleep off this headache and then bash out the pages (not literally) tomorrow! 😀
